The following is a rough timeline covering the the not-so-illustrious political career of Stuart Rowland Robert, Liberal MP for Fadden (QLD) since 2007.

On 10 September 2010 Stuart Robert changed his Statement of Registrable Interests to reflect that he and his wife were no longer trustees for the Robert Family Trust and Robert Investments Family Trust, as well as ceasing to be directors and shareholders in Robert International Pty Ltd.

It is understood that new trustees are close family members of Robert.

Safe Schools Coalition: sexual deviants in the classroom funded by Labor senator Penny Wong

Kids as young as 11 in danger from ALP/Green homosexual agenda coming soon to a state school near you. Parents completely in the dark!

  • February 13, 2016

A taxpayer-funded sexuality program that instructs 11-year-olds to role-play gay teenagers has been accused of crossing the line between education and advocacy in the classroom.

The controversial Safe Schools Coalition program, which teaches high school students in years 7 and 8 about sexual diversity and inclusion, is pitting religious groups against gay rights advocates.

Ostensibly an anti-bullying program, it takes a politically correct approach to sex education. Teachers are told it is “heterosexist’’ to refer to students as “girls and boys”. Prepubescent children are taught the meaning of terms such as “queer’’, “pansexual’’, “sister girl’’ and “trans guy’’.

Nearly 500 of Australia’s schools are using the program and Victoria has ordered all government schools to sign on by 2019.

The program’s teaching guide, All of Us, includes a role-playing lesson plan in which kids as young as 11 are told to imagine they are 16 and going out with “someone they are really into’’.

Half the students pretend they are with someone of the same sex; the others have a partner of the opposite sex. Students have to answer 10 questions including: “When you go out with a group of friends to the movies, would you feel c...

Barwon Blog: Making tracks: to Golden Point "IndyWatch Feed Geelong"

On about 21st August, 1851 gold diggers John Dunlop and James Regan, unhappy with the meagre finds and large numbers of people flocking to Hiscock's Gully, decided to try their luck further afield. It was about 6 or 7 miles distant, at what is now known as Poverty Point that the pair struck gold. Thanks to Geelong Advertiser reporter Alfred Clarke, news of their find was soon public knowledge.
At the time of the discovery, Clarke was making regular reports from Hiscock's diggings. On 25th August, he stated that parties were out searching and that gold had been found on Yuille's run towards Warrenheip as well as several finds in the gullies nearby Hiscock's.

Gold it seemed, was everywhere. Within a day or two of Dunlop and Regan's find, two other groups of prospectors struck gold less than a mile to the north west, on the opposite side of the point to which Dunlop and Regan were working. This site was given the name Golden Point and in those early days of alluvial gold finds, was considered to be the site of the "main diggings".
Naturally, all parties involved were ke...

GetUp exposed: George Soros’ tentacles reach into Australia

The left-wingl activist group, GetUp claims it is “an independent grass-roots community advocacy organisation.”

GetUp’s founders David Madden and Jeremey Heimans are heavily involved in a number of similar US and global left-wing activist groups, each of which is tied to the shadowy billionaire, George Soros.

GetUp was inspired by, and modelled on similar US groups, such as and Win Back Respect. Madden and Heniman were co-founders of Win Back Respect. According to public records published on, when they were drawing expenses from the group in 2004, the major donor that year, with a contribution of $150,000 was George Soros.

Madden and Heimans are also involved with another Soros-financed left-wing activist group, Public records reveal that between January 2003 and December 2004, Soros contributed $2,500,999 to

Madden and Heimans are co-founders of the global activist group,, an organization that the Canadian Minister John Baird in 2008 labelled as “shadowy foreign organization tied to billionaire activist George Soros.”

Madden and Heimans can hardly claim that GetUp is non-partisan when its original board members included Australian Workers Union secretary Bill Shorten, Australian Fabian Society secretary Evan Thornley, green activist Cate Faehrmann, and left-wing trade union researcher and “community organiser” Amanda Tattersall. The largest donor to GetUp in 2010 with a donation of $1.1 million is the CFMEU.

GetUp’s benefactor, George Soros (above) is clearly partisan. Of the $3....

The Network: What to do about those catalogues and unsolicited advertising material getting dumped in your mail box. "IndyWatch Feed Cvic"

Above are advertisements for two of the largest catalogue and direct mail corporations in Australia.  If you are sick of junk mail in your letter-box, then the likelihood of it getting to you via these corporations is high.

However, there are a few things to consider with regard to what is called "junk mail". Check this Australia Post site for information - but this does not tell you everything you need to know. For instance, there are exemptions. This Queensland Government site is helpful - but again there is a major omission. The major omission is electoral material - so come election time and you are getting unwanted material from the political parties and candidates, independent or otherwise, it is stiff cheddar.  This material does not qualify as "junk mail".

I’ve hardly been to one of my favourite birding sites, the Rise and Shine, at all over summer.

This has been a serious error, as I got a lovely selection of species on a visit there earlier this week. In addition to the birds pictured below I spotted: Peaceful Dove, Scarlet Robin, Brown and White-throated Treecreeper, Yellow-tufted, Fuscous and Black-chinned Honeyeater, White-browed Babbler and Mistletoebird. The highlight was spending a few quiet minutes observing this Crested Shrike-tit searching for insects under bark.

ART and ARCHITECTURE, mainly: Castrati: Italian super stars in 18th century opera "IndyWatch Feed Melbourne"

At the height of the passion for male sopranos, four or five thousand Italian boys a year were castrated in order to preserve their unbroken voices. Eight was the average age to be castrated in the C18th, though it was illegal in both canon and civil law. And it had a high morbidity and mortality rate. But poor families did it because castrating a talented young lad might have led to a life of wealth and fame. [Little did families know that of the less-than-brilliant performers, 97% of the castrated lads would have to find work in church choirs].

Was it cruel and brutal to damage little children, before they had a chance to form an adult opinion? Of course it was. But contemporary written information is still impossible to find. If surgeons could not or would not do the operation, the local barbers would. The orchidectomy to remove a boy's testicles were reputedly performed by the butchers of Norcia, an Italian region famous for its pork products where the castration of pigs was common.

With no anaesthetic to control the pain, The Guardian said the lads were drugged with opium; they had their testicles removed by slitting the groin and severing the spermatic chord. Not surprisingly they developed no facial hair, no Adam's apple and their voices did not break. Their larynxes failed to put on the growth spurt that occurs in boys at puberty, so their vocal chords stayed close to the resonating chambers, creating a sound that was sublime like angels’ voices. More surprisingly to me, the castrati became very tall, with elongated limbs and barrel chested.

The male singers who were the great stars of George Frideric Handel's (1685-1759) day were not the tenors, but the castrati......

CounterAct: Getting in the way – to #LetThemStay "IndyWatch Feed Melbourne"

Our round up of resources, groups and training to get involved in, pathways to action and suggestions for affinity group organising to get in the way, to ‪#‎LetThemStay‬

It is an incredible time right now with significant movement momentum gathering around the call to #LetThemStay in relation to the 267 refugees at risk of being deported to Nauru after a recent high court case was unsuccessful in challenging offshore detention.

The response across Australia has been phenomenal – from all sectors of civil society, calling on a need for a moral response, rather than a legal one. Civil disobedience and non-cooperation has hit the mainstream with churches offering sanctuary, and other institutions such as trade hall, and individuals joining that offer as well. Teachers and healthcare workers have been speaking out in recent months, refusing to discharge children who could be deported, risking possible charges under the controversial Border Force act, and many thousands of everyday folks have hit the streets, brought cities to a standstill and expressed powerful support in taking further steps of direct action to “get in the way, to let them stay”....

The Greening of Gavin: Taking Your Soap Making To The Next Level "IndyWatch Feed Melbourne"

Soap making is so much fun, even for a bloke like me.  So once you’ve mastered the basic chemistry behind combining fatty acids with an alkali and water, how do you take soap making to the next level?

Basic Soap making

Single colour soap

Well I truly believe that like anything in life, you have to practice.

Practice regularly, until you become proficient at it.

And that is exactly what Kim and I do.  We practice making soap, including many of the techniques that we strive to teach at our basic and advanced soap making workshops.

Why just last weekend we made 4 kg of soap in four batches, trying our hand at natural clays and pigments, new layering techniques, and top decoration.

Before you attempt cold process soap making, I highly recommend that you watch first this safety video titled Care with Lye.

OCCUPYMELBOURNE.NET: The Murrumbeena Sky Rail Blues "IndyWatch Feed Melbourne"

So word is out that the government is planning to upgrade and replace the old level crossings at Carnegie , Murrumbeena and Hughesdale with a track raised 9 metres and huge concrete eye-sore stations that will hover over these quaint old village-style suburbs like alien spaceships.

The government did not consult the locals, but pretty much ambushed them with a door-knock 2 days before the official announcement. Understandably, the locals are up in arms and a petition against the “sky rail” containing nearly 3000 signatures has been filed with parliament.

The government also issued a propaganda video , which promises to turn the area under the track into a bike path and parkland, as if people will flock to parks under thundering trains. More likely this will attract the local drug dealers and “painters”.

As a former resident of Murrumbeena (for 10 years), I lived one street removed from the train-line. Even in the late Nineties it was congested and running with greater frequency than other train-lines. We could hear it, but it didn’t intrude on our lives. If the sky rail was built, many people from our street would be able to see it too.

As for the people whose properties back onto the rail (Mainly Murrumbeena)this is obviously a disaster of epic proportions reminiscent of the Blues Brothers scene :”How often does the train go by? So often you don’t notice it anymore” But of course you do!

Sunshine Coast Environment Council: Minister defends National Parks "IndyWatch Feed Seq"

The Agriculture and Environment Committee reported on the Nature Conservation and Other Legislation Amendment Bill 2015 on 05 February.

The report is available here

The restoration of fundamental provisions in the Act such as the cardinal principle which recognises National Parks as cornerstones for conservation was crucial to protecting the Kondalilla National Park from an inappropriate zip-line.

The Nature Conservation Act is also an integral part of the legislative framework  to protect our small, diverse conservation estate from potential commercial activities and intensive uses which would compromise the natural and amenity values of these special places.

Minister Steven Miles MP  issued the following statement on 09 February

Sunshine Coast Environment Council: e-Bulletin February 2016 "IndyWatch Feed Seq"

10 February 2016

It’s been a colourful start to the year for SCEC, with lots of action on the community engagement front. On January 24, SCEC joined the Boomerang Alliance, Surfrider Foundation and Noosa Community Biosphere Association on Noosa Main beach to send a clear message to local politicians – we want a Container Deposit Scheme on the Sunshine Coast! A recent reader poll in the Sunshine Coast Daily revealed that 96% of respondents supported the idea, with 23% of those 96% saying it should be extended to more than just drink containers. Now it is up to us to lo...
