Male-skewed immigration to Europe and sexist violence: Oksana Boyko interviews Prof Hudson (We) can do better

The assault and robbery of scores of women in Cologne on New Year's Eve, allegedly perpetrated by groups of migrants, has fanned the flames of the refugee crisis in Europe. And while European leaders introduce stricter measures to deal with offending asylum seekers, many are questioning the wisdom of the policies that brought them there. What's behind the seemingly increasing wave of violence by migrants and is the predominantly male migration skewing the European demographic profile, thereby predisposing its societies to even more crime? Oksana is joined by Valerie Hudson, a Professor of Political Science at Texas A&M University, to explore these issues.

This article, including the embedded video, was originally published on RT/Worlds Apart as Cologne-ising Europe? Ft. Valerie Hudson, Professor of Political Science, Texas A&M University (21/1/16). This republication includes additional text.

Three more vehicular close encounters from Victoria Unidentified Aerial Phenomena - scientific research

Hi all,

I have now found out details about three more close encounter cases from Victoria, which involved objects approaching motor vehicles travelling along the road.

Paradise Beach - 2003/2004

Following the appearance of a piece about Project Newsprint, in a recent issue of the "Gippsland Times" I received a telephone call from a man, who told me about yet another close encounter.

22 January 2016 edition

He was 6-7 kilometres out of Paradise Beach in Victoria, heading westwards towards Longford in a car. At about 3pm, so in broad daylight, he saw a small, bright, white light off in the distance through his windscreen. This bright light became larger, and brighter as if approaching the vehicle. As it came even closer he saw no shape, or structure, to the light since it was so bright. There was no associated noise at any stage.

Mark Allen and Mark O'Connor do Population at Sustainable Living Festival 2016 (We) can do better

14 Feb 2016 at 12-12.30pm: Mark Allen of Population Permaculture and Planning asks: Is it possible to accommodate a growing population without unacceptably high density living and urban sprawl? If so, what rate of population growth should we be looking at and what types of community should we be creating? This workshop discusses the merits of village style living in combination with permaculture principles and asks the question, where do we go from here?

14 Feb 2016 at 12.30-1pm: Mark O’Connor, co-author of Overloading Australia, will look at why environmentalism is almost meaningless when there is no plan to limit growth of population, why this issue is often ignored, and what a better form of environmentalism could and should do. What are humane and practical ways to limit Australia’s and the world’s population? (Sustainable Population Australia - Victorian Branch (SPA Victoria) organised this event.)

Another Australian government Valentich file emerges. Unidentified Aerial Phenomena - scientific research

Hi all,

Introduction

On 28 June 2012 I wrote a blog piece about the discovery of two Australian government files relating to the disappearance, in 1978, of pilot Frederick Valentich, over Bass Strait, Australia.

Last year, in September, while randomly checking the National Archives of Australia's RecordSearch database, I found a two part file which also relates to the disappearance.

The new file is NAA file series B638, control symbol M116/783/1047 parts 1 and part 2;  barcodes 10499635 and 10499636. Series B638 is comprised of 299 air safety, accident and incident files, where M stands for Melbourne.

I immediately requested that the files, whose status was "Not yet examined" be examined. On 18 December 2015, I was advised that both parts of the file were now "open." I then submitted a request to have the file digitised, and paid the relevant fee.

The file, when "open" is titled "Accident on C182L - Moorabbin Vic/King Island Tas - 21 October 1978. VH-DSJ [including multiple newspaper cuttings regarding incident folder contains two piles.]"

The file had just been digitised.

Regarding the Claims that I Am a Stalker DavidShurter.com

These “people” will stop at nothing to attack and discredit me so now they are claiming I stalk women because of something that was written about me concerning Pat Goodwin. She didn’t write it but still it is being used against me.

First off, I didn’t stalk her on the internet or otherwise and in fact she gave me a key to her house. Pat and I worked together extensively on Amazon fighting this group of pedophile protectors in comment sections, and I actually lived with her for three months. We ended up having a falling out (as friends sometimes do) and that was when the letter that this group is using against me was written.

The thing is that AFTER this letter was written, Pat Goodwin came to my house and asked if I would help out with her with her conference that her company Ivory Garden held in Seattle that October. Which I did. However this group that is calling me out completely fails to mention this. They claim I am a dangerous stalker (although THEY are the ones attacking me all over the internet) but fail to mention that afterwards, Pat Goodwin HERSELF asked me to work at her three day conference- which I did.

These people will use any lie they can to discredit me and prevent people from listening to me although they claim they can not be held accountable for their lies and manipulations. This is just ONE MORE example of this.

Sheva Burton Working With Satanist Doug Mesner/Lucien Greaves (Who Has CIA Connections) to Constantly Attack Me on Twitter DavidShurter.com

Honestly- I have no idea who this Sheva person is, although she claims that I have published lies about her on my blog even though this is the first time I have ever mentioned her here. She is promoting Satanist Doug Mesner/Lucien Greaves twitter remarks when she isn’t posting 20 of her own a day about me and when they aren’t claiming I am crazy- they are ripping apart every spelling error I make (and I do make mistakes- thank God for spell check). So let me deal with this accordingly.

First off- Sheva Burton is connected to the UK’s Hampstead case- but now she is doing her best to promote some guy named Arthur Kaoutal as a legitimate ritual abuse survivor, although why is someone in the UK so well informed about an Australian survivor? The problem with Arthur is that he is a convict- is well known to ingest ICE- (which is the smoke able form or meth, which I didn’t know and had to ask what ICE was), and most importantly- he claims he is the Second Coming of Christ. So this little group goes all over Twitter and everywhere else that they can think of claiming I am crazy- but THIS guy, well, they, if you will excuse the pun- take everything he has to say as gospel. But after posting this, I was informed her real name is Susan Mellrose.

Sheva (Susan Mellrose) and her little group support and defend Satanist Doug Mesner/Lucien Greaves, who is going on and on about how crazy I am. However- I am not the one who bilked 100,000 dollars out of people to build an 8 foot devil statue that no one wants. They intended to put it side by side with the 10 Commandments in Oklahoma City- but Oklahoma City decided to TAKE DOWN the 10 Commandments instead of allowing it to go up at their state capitol. This is also the guy who did some weird ceremony on a relative of the Westboro Baptist Church minister wearing horns on his head- and then pulled out his privates and allowed everyone to take a picture of him doing it. But he says that I am crazy- Stran...

Part 17: Australia’s “irrelevant” Crimes against Humanity. Is the Linacre letter proof that on New Year’s Day 2016, Centrelink tried to defraud 73,000 unsuspecting people? Ronald's space

In the December 7th, 2015 Ronald’s space posting, I wrote that 1.1 million welfare recipients were at risk of being victims of Centrelink’s “Waivergate” scam. Is the Linacre letter below proof that just 3 weeks later, on New Year’s Day 2016, Centrelink deliberately tried to defraud 73,000 unsuspecting people?

[Note: the short link URL for this posting is:   http://wp.me/p1n8TZ-sb   ]

For a brief but very informative 7 News video article about this possibly fraudulent scam, click on this link: https://au.news.yahoo.com/a/30512118/centrelink-system-errors-leave-73-000-families-thinking-they-are-in-debt/

Below is a slightly redacted copy of the Linacre Letter in which the information that would disclose the identity of a welfare recipient has been removed. When you read this letter, there are several questions to consider:

  1. What information did I provide to Centrelink;
  2. Why did the Acting Chief Legal Counsel decide to ignore the constitution, statute laws, High Court decisions, international conventions and laws, and common law rights?
  3. Most importantly, did Alice Linacre or her predecessor, Vicky Parker, have the legal right to ignore the constitution, statute laws, High Court decisions, international treaties and international law? [Hint: the answer to that question is the opposite of “yes”.]

January Tropical Gardening Guide Pip Magazine – Australian Permaculture

January in the tropical garden

by Kathleen Hosking of Solution Focussed

WHAT TO PLANT?

• Plant seeds for snake beans, wing beans, mung beans, peanuts, Asian greens, Komatsuna mustard, okra and rosella and marigolds. Soybeans are best planted in early December. This allows the maximum growing period before the day length shortens and initiates flowering. Soybeans can still be planted in January but the weather may reduce the productivity of the crop. You can extend the cropping period by harvesting young pods to eat green.

• Cuttings of cassava, Aibika, sweet leaf. I have been experimenting with different types of stem cuttings. The most effective seems to be burying a short piece of stem with three nodes under the surface. The new stem and roots will grow from the nodes.

• Corms for taro, both the purple fleck and the small white sweet upland taro, and cocoyam.

• Push cuttings of sweet potatoes into a mound of soil for good drainage.

• Plant celery top taro in wet spots under a downpipe or similar. It does not tolerate dry weather and is a heavy feeder.

• Rhizomes for ginger, turmeric, galangal, Temulawak, sand ginger and Chinese keys in a shady spot

• MAINTAINANCE

• Fertilise regularly with weak liquid fertiliser as it washed away by the heavy rain.

• Mulch any uncovered ground.

• Plant green manure crops where possible using any leftover or older seeds.

• Water during dry spells.

• Empty the first flush diverter after each rain event. Use the water for foliar feeding.

WEEDS, PESTS AND DISEASE

• Weed regularly before they get too large and take over.

• Allow the birds and other wildlife to do the pest control for you.

HARVEST AND PRESERVE

• Harvest young fruit of the white eggplant, okra, capsicum and snake beans regularly to keep the plant fruiting. These are all pe...

January in the cool temperate garden

by Christina Giudice, of Food In My Backyard, Hobart

blueberry

Peak Blueberry has been reached!

WHAT TO PLANT?

There are two main planting focuses for January in the cool temperate garden.

  1. Succession and replacement planting of your summer vegies, including:
  • Carrots, beetroot, radish, turnip, lettuce (chill the seed in the fridge for a few days before planting, and plant on the shady side of sweet corn or climbing beans or sunflowers), Asian greens (eg rocket, mizuna, mibuna, mustard, cress), silver beet, spring onions, bush beans, and if you’re in a warm spot, seedlings of late zucchini, cucumber, small pumpkins like golden nugget, sweetcorn and even tomatoes. Yes, tomatoes!
  1. Early plantings of long season vegies that will grow into autumn and winter, including:
  • Leeks, parsnips, celery, celeriac, brussel sprouts. Other brassicas too (like broccoli, cabbage, cauliflower) can be planted in seed trays to grow on as seedlings to be planted in the coming months. Brussel sprouts need the longest growing season of this tribe, so it’s a good i...

January Mediterranean Garden Guide Pip Magazine – Australian Permaculture

by Nadja Osterstock from Nadja’s Garden

chilis

Tis the season to be chili!

This morning Adelaideans have woken to a most welcome cool change with gentle, soaking showers, after a record-breaking – and in some gardens, heartbreaking – December heat wave. It has been a severe start to summer, but given that we experienced a foretaste of this in late spring, many of our plants have had a chance to acclimatise. Those that received sufficient water and shelter may have paused in their growth and wilted during the heat but should now be perky and ready to recover. Some plants may be carrying scorched upper leaves and it’s worth leaving these in place initially, to provide some shade until new growth hardens up. Plants with sunburnt stems and branches, or which have had their root systems severely damaged, are most at risk. This happens more readily to potplants, where the roots can literally be cooked, and to those plants in the ground that have relied on frequent shallow watering and have therefore not dug their roots in deep enough to be insulated against high surface temperatures – even more so if they are not mulche...
